HI all.I have a ?.I need a little help.about 5 weeks ago i was out mudd bogging with quad had a blast.We rode a mudd hole all day,later that day my quad started to bog spitter when i tried to hit high RPM's If it just sat and idle it was fine but as soon as i got on the throttle it would bog down.I have it jetted and run a pro circuit exhaust.What should i do?I put a new sparkplug tried to adjust idle screw but it still spits and splatters. could be your parking brake, when the wires on it dont connect or somthuing it will make you quad bogg when you gas it , or might have **** in your carb, ied clean it if i were you

 

it's a dirty carb... you prolly sucked ina a lil mud and it's blocking the mainjet.. so take off the carb flip it over and pull the cover for the bowls.. then take out the main jet and clean it ... spray some cleaner throguh it then take an air hose and blow it out..

 

Another thing to check, is the float bowl vent tube, its the tube hamging down from the float bowl, if its plugged with mud, the float bowl wont refill correctly.

 

If you can rev it up with the clutch in or in neutral and it is fine until you let the clutch out it is probably the parking cable other wise clean your carb

 

i think i have the same problem or something similar but my quad revs hi then makes like a clacking sound then revs low and does it over and over (in idle). when im going it does the some thing but dont rev low what could be the problem.
