yeah, you see, this isnt for me but a buddy of mine has an 05 660r with a full series yoshi exhuast and thats all. another friend of mine has 400 EX with JE Sparks Thermal Coated 11.8:1 piston , Cometic XR400 gaskets (thinner) make it 11:1 compression, Hotcams Stage 2, Sparks 3 angle full port job, Ground out headers and a 42mm Pumper carb.

well these guys have money to put into their quads and they kind of have like a secret battle goin on between them, and personally i'm goin for the one withthe raptor. anyway he has about 500 bucks to put into it. what is the best he could do, or if theres like a kit thats a little more, like no more than 650 that might do too.

well thats what i'm thinking, but i'm a polaris rider and i'd rather leave it to you daily yammy riders to make this kids raptor faster. i'm just here for suggestions so anythings good. whatever it takes to keep up or beat that EX

 

If he has Full Yoshi system on it and that's it hes better save that $500.00 to put towards the engine when he melts the piston due to the serious lean condition it's experiencing. Better look into a jet kit or dial-a-jet. Speaking of that, anyone using one(DIAL-A-JET)??? My buddy just bought 1 but it's not on yet.

 

my bad guys..i didnt mention that he had obviously rejetted for the exhuast...he has done it though, and its running great
