1,000cc = 1 Liter, its engine size , see how nice and easy the metric system is i hope the US switches over. see, a 3,400cc engine is 3.4 liters, easy to find out, how many CI is a 3.4 Liter? HEY! you cant use a calculater ! its 207CI but its alot harder.

Just about any Supersport bike is not good for a new rider. Nowadays even the 600's will run high 10's in the quarter mile. And that is not there strong suit. Their strength is from a roll. My old 2000 R6 would go from 60 to 130 MPH in a heart-beat. And it felt perfectly stable at those speeds. All that did was make me want to go faster. Not good. Unless you have a LOT of self control, you'll lose your life or license quick. That's why I now have a V-MAX. I can still accelerate REAL fast. And the wind blast hitting my chest at 90 MPH reminds me it's time to slow down.
