Default Seating Needle Jet

On my raptor, it's easy enough because the main nozzle will force it down. On this carb though (timberwolf) the threads from the main nozzle aren't close enough to catch and I can't tap it in. Any tricks, lubricants maybe? I used a pencil, straw, andything that wasn't hard metal, and it won't go.
Thanks
