Speed Limiter on Warrior
#1
Ok, i was reading the warrior manual and I saw the speed limiter thing... u know.. the bolt and the locknut thing that sticks out of the throttle.. well, the manual says that if it is screwed in, the speed and power is decreased and if it is screwed out the speed and power is increased. Well, I was wondering if I could take out the bolt altogether, so that I can have no limit to the power and speed. Is this bad or good to do? Will it hurt my engine or anything at all? Thx.

well first of all its just like a throttle limiter. so its just like riding it without some of yur throttle all the time. it prolly wont hurt it just dont hold it at high rpm for a long time. an i sugest you do take it out, just be smart

Yea i took mine out when i had a blaster, and with the raptor i have it barely in there, its about 3/4 of a turn hangin in there. IT hurts nothing to take it out, other than the possibility of crap getting in there.

i love my warrior.. its the best on the trails. the suspension is good.. just depends what you ride. The power is great for getting out of ruts. If u want better xcel, get a HMF pipe. other than that it is great. If you want to lose the extra lbs, get alluminum a-arms instead of the sturdy steel ones that come with the warrior.
