Default Gas Pouring out Carb

Gas coming out of the drain outlet (by drain screw) when quad is running and immediately after it's shutt off. Probably something with the float?? what should I do when I take it back apart? The carb was just cleaned, so I must of messed up something, but what should I look for first? Thanks

Look for crud between the float needle and seat, and maybe clean it up a bit with very fine steel wool or scotchbrite. If there isnt something, holding them apart, then look over the installation, something is hanging up and holding the needle off the seat.

Using an air hose in that manor can cause damage to the carb, enough to cause total loss. If you can try to find a factory manual or service cd. They will give you the exact process for teardown and rebuild.

in the short term,,,you could try tapping the carb bowl with the handle of a screwdriver,,,,it may just be hung up

i dont recommend using an airline in that manner either
