working on dudes raptor....very neglected...sat for months....to start replaced carrier and axle....freed brakes up...and replaced oneway....new battery, ngk plug, oil and filter, cleaned air filter......and 2 ultra carb cleanings....now back together....hit the starter button and idles in a few revolutions....hit gas and its stuck in reverse rev limit....ground the bottom sensor as shown in a couple of raptor specialty web sites... and it still does it....can cdi cause this mode? i am at wits end....ive disconnected all sensors prior to the grounding and bypassing (attempting that is) limiter and sprayed with connection cleaner to ensure good contact.... i dont know what to do other than find another raptor and start swapping parts....any advise would be so helpful....thanks in advance!
