Ok guys I need lots of help im buying a new atv and not sure what to buy. These are my choices raptor, 400ex, and watever u think i should after i tell you what i ride. Ok this is what I do im basically a gncc rider but dont race. I like to ride creeks, hills, lots of trails, Jumps, Hills an ext. So can u guys help me please, please, please, please. What would be good fourwheeler and also to add i had a raptor and i bottomed out so much and got stuck so much. And then riding when i would get stuck my friends would laugh at me because they have scramblers, and then my one friend he has a trail blazer and goes threw more stuff then me and makes me made alot. Then when it comes to hills i kill em. and smae wit wide opens. and like wit creeks im about the smae but i heard that raptors have engine openings that can get water in them so I got scared when i heard that. So im very confused about what to get. So again please help me. thanks kevin

Im gonna help you a lot, because im going to type a lot.

You said your friends kill you on a scrambler? try getting a scrambler 500 4x4! or a big bore utility, would kill em on anything, i think.
try a grizzly. If not raptor, that means not 400ex not banshee not warrior not blaster not 300ex not 250ex not z400 not c-dale. If you really dont care that your friends are beating you in mud trails whatever get what they have. Or get a 2002 raptor(WHAT I AND MOST PEOPLE WANT BECAUSE OF THE NEW TRANNY AND AXLE)... anyways, get a 2002 raptor, and put MUD tires on it. You bottomed out a raptor? tighen the suspention. how much do you weigh? height?

I could tell you that i ride trails and dont race and i ride creeks and mud ect, then you say a 250ex would be GREAT for me! but i didnt include that i weigh 300lbs.

The Raptor is a performance machine, not a mudder. If you strictly do mud, buy a suzuki vinson. They are fast and powerful and can handle anything you throw at it. If you like trails, hills and to go damn fast, the buy the 2002 Raptor. Bets machine on the market to do anything, but mud. The tranny proble and axle problem on the 2001 has been addressed and changed. I do everything with my raptor that you have mention with no problem, and you know what.... I am always the first one at the finish line!

A scramber 500 4x4 may be the quad your looking for. My buddy bought one, had some initial problems, but after the break in and everything, its a pretty good quad. The only thing I do not like whatsoever is that dang belt drive system. Gets hot, or gets in water, and burns and slips. I dont care for that.
Pretty fast quad for as big as it is, and goes through just about anything. He can outclimb lots of machines as well, just dont roll that sucker over unless you have it fully insured. I see your from canfield, thats 15 minutes from here.
