Default 350 Raptor sprockets

Is there anybody who changed the sprockets on there 350 Raptor? What do you think is the best set up for trail riding and minimize shifting in 1-3 gear?

move down to a 12 tooth for an increase in low end (great for trail riding and wheelies), or go up to a 14 tooth for more top end (horrible for trails)

By going down to a 12T in the front, wont your shift through your gears alot quicker!! Should I change the rear sprocket!!

I just find that 1-2 gear is useless, no speed between the gears!!!

What mods to your raptor did you find work best for you!! I think I may change my sprocket to a 12T in front but What do I put in the back? Also, I am thinking about getting a FMF powercore 4 pipe with a Pro flow kit!! Do you think this will make a big difference?

Thanks dude!!

You really dont need to change the rear sprocket. Its kinda pointless, stock gearing is like 13/40 so if you gear it down to 12/40 and then you add a tooth in the rear (12/41), it still equals the same ratio sa 13/40 (do the math: 13+40=12+41) I'm just starting with my engine mods so the only gain ive noticed is the pipe. But defenitley get the pro flow kit and pipe, you'll notice a huge gain, especially from the pro flow kit. I'd also recommend getting a FMF powerbomb header to go with that Powercore. Your gonna have to jet the carb though!

Thanks for the info.

Actually, the raptor is 13T Front and 38T on the rear!! I think I may wait until I get my exhaust before I change the sprocket any..

thanks Dude

I just changed to a 12 tooth and what a difference. I ride 90 percent in trails and it helped out hugely. Especially wheelies over fallen trees and ice ledges.

13/40=12/41? Uhhh...I don't think so. 12/41 is geared down WAY more than 13/40. 13/40 is closer to 12/38. Going bigger on the back gears it lower and going smaller in the front also gears it lower so 12/41 will be significantly lower gearing and loss of top speed.
