Default BANSHEE bogs when cold neutral

I have a question

I just got this Banshee (2000) and its pretty stock. My question is when I startup from cold, the bike WILL NOT let you rev it up. It will bog, and only idle when cold. If I jump on it and ride it to warm it up, it's fine. Do these things have some kinda rev limiter or somthing when they are not in gear? It's kinda wierd.
Thanks
Paul

I don't know much about banshees, but i think its because its cold...just let it warm up for a few minutes or else drive it around slowly with the choke on...you hafta let those two strokes warm up

I have ridden 2 strokes my whole life, so I know its not a normal condition. What was wrong with the reeds on your YZ?? It runs great when warm, its just wierd.

yea this was bout a year ago ..it would run like junk for the first 10 min with no lowend power so i pulled the reeds and noticed they was startin to get a lil gap between reeds and basket so i put new ones in and my warm up time went down to bout a 2min before it would rip,
just an idea, good luck dude

I figured it out, so FYI

The EBRAKE was on, and the Banshee will not allow you to rev when it is.
