Default NEED HELP...2004 yamaha 350 Raptor FMF powercore 4

Need Help... I am interested in purchasing a fmf powercore 4 with header and with S/S Power Bomb Header. My problem is that anywhere I go, I cannot find my 2004 350 raptor listed. The only thing that is listed is for a 2004 yamaha 350 warrior or a 2005 350 raptor. Just wondering if anybody knows if I can use the pipe and header from those listing or are they different all together.

I am assuming that a powercore 4 pipe and header is designed for the 2005 will fit on my 2004. And I also think that the 2004 warrior listing is probably the pipe and header for my machine, but not 100%
I was told from some yamaha boys that I shold watch out because the frame style of a warrior is different and that will give problems when installing my header!!

What do you guys think?? Did you guys ever run into this problem??

Thanks

Taker easy, if she's easy , taker twice..

Snotrod is out..

Do you have any major motor mods on your raptor? If not, then don't waste your money on the PB header. The stock header on the Raptor/Warrior 350 flows all the exhaust the engine can deliver even with mods up to a 435cc big bore kit.

If you're looking for nicer styling, by all means get it .. but if you're looking for additional power gains you are wasting your time and money.

I don't know about the power gains from the powercore exhaust over stock since it was on the quad when I bought it. I love the sound of the pipe, it's nice and quiet for trail putting or idling, but when you get on the gas it really barks!!

I do have a uni filter, but don't have it installed yet. Had it installed last summer for a while but couldn't get the jetting just right, so I put it back to stock.

If you have a pipe and a filter you will def. need to re-jet. I'm looking to get a 50 pilot jet because that circuit (up to 1/4 throttle) is too lean even with the air box on. I have a 155 main jet right now to install after I get a chance to work on the bike. I only get to see it when I'm home, which is 1 week in 4.

in my opinion.. get teh HMF sprt series for it.. nice rapp to it and it is a great power boost for low to mid end. 199.99 shipped from sweetquads.. just my advice. I hear its the ebst for the warrior/rappy 350.

-edit- no jetting needed for it.. and the pros use it for trails/motocross.

yea i felt a tad bit difference on bottom end but a huge on mid-range. no i didnt get the pro flow kit yet but i am planning on it. you dont have to jet with the slip on i dont know about with the powerbomb header though. I paid 242.00 from rockymountainatv.com but now they sell it for 269.00.
