While I was out riding today my 2001 grizzly started acting funny. If I came to a stop or if I was going slow and and hammered the throttle it would rev up like normal with all the power it usually has but after 1 second the revs would drop and so would the front end but it would keep accelerating and the revs would slowly come up to normal and it would get to its regular top speed of 90 kph. If I was going over 50 and cracked it open It would accelerate as normal. The weird thing is that it wouldn't do it all the time. it started doing it at around 400 kms and has been doing it about half the time up till now at 550 kms. Does anyone have any idea what this would be? I thoght at first there waas something in the float bowl of the carb but I checked and there was nothing. Even if there was I dont think I would be able to get to full speed, or I would here back firing form the engine. If it were the clutches wouldn't It be doing it all the time instead of only sometimes? Thanks for any replies.
