Default Raptor plastic replacements....

Does anyone know how much it is to get stock front plastics for the raptor strait from yamaha? Also, is there any aftermarket plastics that you can buy that you can remove the hood (radiator cover) from? thanks for any replies---Rider1169

look at fullbore plastics they got a website and such there hot, why would you want no vents for your radiator?

Well, the reason i wanted to get plastics (preferably after market because they seem to be cheap/cheaper) with no radiator cover, or at least a detacable one, is because i have the carbon fiber print hood, and would like to carry that over with the plastics. i love the fullbore plastics, but dont like the front grill on them. Thanks for the imput, i was expecting the yamaha front plastics to be ridiculously expensive like 500$ for just the fronts. Glad to see its only about 70$ more than Maier.---Rider1169

check ebay. I bought all new plastics for my Bruin 350 for $300. Thats a really good deal considering they were camo, and i would play around 3 times that if i bought them from the dealer.

Default Raptor plastic replacements....

I bought a set of maier plastics(front and back) cause my dumb friend flipped my quad. I am thinking now that my next set of plastics will definitly not be from Maier. They look good but I am not impressed with the quality. The plastics are super SUPER thin around all the edges and they are very flimsy. I cracked the rear fender already and i ripped the front mount of the front fender clean out of the screw by hitting it with my knee. So next time I am going to buy a set of stock plastics or splurge and buy the full bore. But I think those fullbore are way over priced

I am glad you said that about Maier because i was almost about to look at getting them. Good too know, thanks RaptorRider619. Yea my friend also crashed my raptor and the fronts are pretty scuffed and deep cut. He was going and i was watching him going right for a ditch that we jump, and if u plan to jump it, its no problem. I saw him going for it, and i thought he planned to jump it and at the last second i see him slam on the brakes and wne strait down into the huge ditch. He flipped it over fowards and the plastics got all deeply cut. Other than the plastics, there doenst seem to be any other damage at all. I was pissed, teach you a lesson on who you let ride, but i guess accidents happen.
