Default Stuff for Warrior

I just bought my wife a 2001 Warrior. I am new to the quad world (especially four-stroke). I have a few questions: What air and oil filter do you guys recommend (k&n, etc)? What skidplates do you recommend (armadilllo, dg baja, richocet, um racing, etc)? And finally, are there any special tricks or things that I have to pay attention to on this quad? Any help is appreciated.

The warrior is a very dependable machine, probally one of the most dependable out there. So shouldnt have any problems unless was abused. As for filters most prefer K&N and skids any of them you listed would be good, might also look at PRM they make good stuff. Not really a trick but if it is still stock I'd atleast put a pipe on it, not only did it give mine better power but also made it easier to ride.

oo one thing you HAVE to watch out for is the parking brake.. it can really be a b!tch at times. It costs about $10 and a lil time( 5-10minutes) to take it off
