Then why did you ask which will handle trails better in your post. You never mentioned anything about a drag. I say go with the YFZ either way.

This was your first post......

"What will handle the trails better"?
"What will handle better"?

Now you say this........

"I have a raptor that will be for trails!!!! I want a drag qaud so thats why i want the 450 motor. what should the hp be?"

If you are only using the next quad to be a "drag qaud" then who cares about trails and handling?
Just dump a bunch of money into the Banshee, and have a fast drag quad that is only used for drags.

You might want to specify these things in your first post next time.

Because at 1st I was going to ride it in the trails but I can just ride the raptor in the trails. What would the 450 motor be pushing.

A piped YFZ with an aftermarket air filter, properly jetted will net you about 46-48 RWHP
Doing the "free" cam mod will net you another 1-3 HP at different RPM ranges (mostly on top end).

Don't let the numbers fool you. The YFZs put out a TON of torque when properly jetted and piped. Torque is what helps to accelerate you. A bike with a lot of torqe and a flatter power curve will be quicker than a bike with a higher but more "peaky" power curve.

Depends on gearing.... (16-40 90mph+) (12-44 60mph) something like that....
