I have a 2003 raptor right now but I will be buying a used banshee or a used YFZ450. Whats faster with pipes filter and jets? what will handle the trails better? and what will handle better?

 

wanna know what dude. I have a banshee and I freaking love it. My friend has a 450 and I LOVE it like 10 times more. It handles better I think. It takes the hills faster. Banshee has higher top end. But how often do you full throttle you crap in sixth gear for a long enough time to make a difference. Also, I hate the banshee because of the jetting and two carbs. It sucks. Its a good bike, but I would so much rather have a 450

 

The YFZ450 will handle much better.... And is a better trail quad as well..........[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I love my yfz my buddy has a banshee and I can't stand the way it handles. But thats just me. With those same mods on both bikes I would think they would be close in quickness. But the yfz handles so much better than the shee.

 

What else do you need to know????

 

I have a banshee for 3,300. This is what he says it has, frame-up restoration, powder coated, LRD exhaust & 450 stroked eng, works, cool head, lots of chrome, over $10500 invested, $3300
Its a 1992. Is that a good deal?

 

That sounds like an ok deal..... However, that quad dosen't sound like it would be very good for trail riding.........

 

If he has the Banshee built that much, it will not be a reliable quad.
I have both. If you are doing any kind of riding besides dune hillshooting, get the YFZ.
