Default Loud clunk when shifting.

I get some kind of loud clunking sound sometimes when I shift into first when standing still and also sometimes into second when moving. It sound like a wrench hitting the plastics but its not. Any idea what it is and how can I fix it. It doesn't change any preformance its just I don't want it to lead to something bad.

Its posible the clutch plates are sticking together, and not fully disengageing. If you jack up the rear end off the ground, so the tires dont touch the ground, start the motor, and hold in the clutch, and put it into 1st...do the back tires start turning, even though the clutch is pulled in?

They don't keep turning but they turn for like a split sec, just a little bit when ingauging the gear. And it gives a jerk when you shift it into gear when the rear is on the ground.

mine does same thing. it makes that jerk usually when i 1st put it into gear, but once i ride it around it doesnt do it. i think it might just not be warmed up enough, but sometimes i do get a clunky sound shifting into 2ed.
