Yeah just watch out with the 2001 models, they had transmission problems that are pretty costy to fix.

I belive 2001 had tranny problems thats what your refering to. Check out local bargain papers finding a local one you can ride before you buy is best. if you have no luck check out ebay but remember:

Somthing WILL be wrong that you dont know about

You have to pay for shipping it, find out prices before you bid from a shipping company

have them take pictures head on from sitting infront of it for alignment. I got my quadzilla on ebay and when i got it if you let off the bars it would pull right off the road or trail. Also needed a new carb and plenty of other things you couldnt tell. of course its an 89 so more time for things to brake but i had to straiten and re-weld most of the front end and then ajust the tie rods.

I got mine for 5000 with a trailer, and it was used 3 times, it stil had tire hairs and paint. And it was a 04 and I bought it last summer.

Look through newspaper classifieds and stuff like that.

2001's have weak tranny, ALL YEAR Raptors have one-way bearing faliure.. not just the 01, although the part number for the one-way bearing chaged on the 05's.
