My buddy and I are going 1/2's on a third machine, in case of breakdowns, or just for kicks. We are both 4wheel fans, but we decided to go with a bike. which of these sounds like the best deal (we will only buy a YAMAHA of course!)

1) 2000 yz 250 $2112.50 (piped, graphics kit, rentals, great shape, dealership in Ohio)

2) 2002 yz 250 $3000 (private owner in our city, no other info)

3) 1998 yz 250 $2500 (private owner in Ohio, renthals, fmf fatty, gold excel rims, set of riding equipment)

The 02 is the closest to us, the 00 is a short drive, and the 98 is a day maybe overnight trip to pickup. What sounds good?

 

1) If the dealer will give you a good warranty then that would be a plus
2) If this was close and its in great shape Id go with this
3) Dont wast your time driving out there if you dont know the shape of the atv

I say stick with 1 or 2. Whichever one is in better shape.
