well i own a 300ex. and since i got a job..now i can arrord to pay for a new quad. is the YFZ really that great? i rode my neighbros 400ex...and that actually didnt feel much different then mine does. can the yfz wheelie easy? how close would it be in a drag with a stock vs stock yfz vs 400ex in any type of drag....short and long.

 

yfz will be way better than the 400 in all areas, yes it can wheely really well. if you can afford it, by all means, buy it

 

how much is the yfz out the door. tax and everything... like $7000 ?

 

If you are close to a bordering state, go there and purchase the quad and you wont have to pay TT+L. otd you will be looking at $6,500 roughly. or an 04 evn for a prettier penny.

 

The YFZ frame geometry is set up to keep the front end tracking with the power on. It still has plenty of power to wheelie, however. You won't find it lacking in this department. Stock vs stock, a 400ex will be sucking dust all day with all other things being equal. Short, long, or uphill drag, it just won't matter.

 

in my opinion.. the yfz is teh best yamaha sport quad made.. for anything
