I have a few questions reguarding a few things i'm gonna be buying.
#1. If i buy a chain does it come with a Master Link or do i have to buy one?
#2 How does the Dial A Jet proform and how easy is it to install?
#3 Has anyone ever used temperature strips?

Ive heard both bad things and good things about dial-a-jet. Some poeple like them a lot, others think it robs horsepower form the engine...and i don't think they could be that hard to install...just what ive heard

My opinion only on your questions..
Most chains come with a masterlink in the bag. Keep your old one on your bike or in your tool kit in case you lose or break one. It's the weakest link in the chain. I've never had a problem but nothing else will work..
Dial a jets work pretty good. I've had a set on for the last 3 years and no problems. I seem to have as much power as other Raptors jetted for the altitude. Where they are a real benifit is in areas like I live. We ride as low as 3000 ft. above sea level down in the southern part of the state to 4500 ft at the dunes and up to 11,000 ft in the mtns. My bike runs about the same everywhere up to about 8000 ft. above sea level, higher than that and it loses lots of power and runs rougher than normal. Nothing like the bikes jetted for 4500 ft though. They barely run when out of their range by more than about 2000 ft.
I think a regular jet kit would be fine for Indiana. Not alot of elevation change is there?
Not even sure what a temperature strip is..

I will still jet tho, i'm not a complete idiot when it coems to jetting. But also i think the bottom half of the state of IN has a higher elevatino than the northern half.. I've riden in the lower half and it seems that my quad just runs a lil differently.
