hotcams power

Default hotcams power

i know people say you could feel the power in top end but does it help low end power?

Stage one is meant towards bottom and mid, and i beleive stage 2 is meant for mid to top...but you don't lose that much bottom...this is what i have heard...

what do you mean stage one and two, do you mean if you get one or the other? i meant if you have the intake and exhaust

Hmm, this is confusing, what quad? If its for the raptor, there is only one cam, stage one is low and mid, and stage dos is mid and top. Im sure its about the same way with the YFZ, not 100% sure though.---Rider1169

What quad do you have? I think stage one/two are for sohc motors, if you want bottom end power on a dohc motor just buy the intake cam. For more top end buy both intake and exaust.

Yea acually i beleive thats right. There is the stage one and stage two for Single cam motors, but my friend got both cams for his z, and could only get stage 1. That sounds right.

i didnt know there were more than one type. i'm talking about for a YFZ, i thought there was just one type of setup

He didnt know there was such a thing as a sohc atv engine, probably not aware of what an ohv engine is either so dont feel too bad. We all have to start learning somewhere, no one has all of the answers.
