450 foreman vs. 450 kodiak
Between these 2 bikes you are comparing apples and oranges, I would say, having just bought a kodiak 05, I can give you some thoughts on it compared to a foreman 450 which a buddy rides. The kodiak is an light, easy to handle quad, that is fast, and rides nice. Now the Foreman is a workhorse, I would say it would out pull the Kodiak no problem at all. In the mud with same tires I am not sure if either would out do the other one, I might give the Kodaik an edge if it is the IRS it may have more ground clearance. I would also say the Kodiak is faster. Either is a great bike, but if you like trail ride go with the kodiak, if you do work around the farm, go with the foreman. I think a closer comparison would be between the rancher AT and the kodiak.

I own both- 2003's but the kodiak is a 400. I can honestly say I prefer the honda. SP335AOK
is right though, even without the IRS the kodiak still has better ground clearence than the honda. The kodiaks have a lot more vibration and the honda is much smoother throughout the rpm range. If i had to do it over again i would have bought 2 hondas- but that's probably because of the hassles i had with yamaha, and the first kodiak they gave me. so far the new kodiak they finally gave me has been A1, but wouldn't buy another one.
