Default inspecting the raptor

Ok, so I was at florence dunes in oregon, and I was on a trail, my right front tire hit an embankment pretty hard, it forced my handlebars to turn right and bent my wheel and tie rod. I flew off and my raptor was upside down when I got up. After I got home I ordered tusk tie rods and put those on, and I put the stock wheels/tires on. So the tie rods are new, and the wheels are fine. I was wondering if there is anything else I need to check, the handle bars seem fine, and the a-arms are straight, is there anything else I should check?

Also, I noticed today that my right front tire is slanted in a little, it's not the toe adjustment, I mean the top of the tire is slanted inwards, the other side does this a little, but not as bad, is this normal? Couold I have bent a spindle? Any ideas.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask, if anyone can help, that would be awesome.

Thanks

Your camber is off. If your a-arms are not adjustable then something is probably bent. I think you should have 3 degrees camber. This means the top of your tire shold be slanted in 3 degrees from straight up and down.

Hey guys, if I got this wrong, please correct me.

Your lucky you didn't bend the steering stem on the Raptor as it seems that bends buy looking at it hard. You can't adjust the A-arms on those stockers so you can replace one stok A-arm or buy two new nice after market ones that will be more effective and have better resale value. Check out Eye ball engineering in Las Vegas. It's great stuff and good pricing.

My a-arms look like they are ok, I really hope that I didn't bend one, those are expensive. They look straight to me. Do you think that it could be the bearings or the ball joints?

I don't think its your bearings or anything like that, you may have bent the peice that receives that hub and rotor. Take off your caliper, then the hub nut and slide it off and inspect. More than likely it sounds like you did bend you a- arm even if you can see it, i might be. Does your wheel wobble at all, does the rotor seem to scuff the padds when its turning?? Good luck with it.

in the past i have bent a spindle in a simmilar crash. I would take the a-arms off and lay them on something you know is stright, or take a good bubble level and put it on the a-arm and if you can see under it then your a-arm is bent. i would go with ASR (americian star racing) i have done alot of hard hits to mine and they aren't bent yet.

ok, i'm out in the garage with my laptop and my raptor is raised up in the front. I pushed back and forth on the left wheel and noticed a littler play, the right wheel doesn't do that. It looks like there is some play in the bottom ball joint, or whatever that its. Do you think this is what it is?
