My new Grizzly is way slower than everyone elses? 45 MPH top end.

I just picked up a 2000 Grizzly and I, and two other riders can't get it up over 45 MPH. I checked the throttle limiter screw and it is at 12mm as it should be. Is the speed going to pick up as it breaks in? Thanks in advance.

WOW!
Something isn't right for sure.
Mine the first day i had it, it was up to 90kph.
Now i can get 100-102kph.
The top end on the 99-2001 are 100. By the way on back road that is really fast. I like to ride no more than 85 after that everything seems to be flying by you when your doing 100,its a hell of a rush especially when you leave your group way behind.
2000 green grizz with no problems, except 1, one of the light bulbs keeps falling out of the socket.
That is it and i have 1800km's on it.

I do have it in H, I would really be bummed with lows top end!

OK, some conversions need to be mader here. 45MPH=72KPH, so that checks out pretty close. Whew! And 90KPH=56MPH so that looks promising....

Thanks for the input. By the way, for those that had to wait for the 90 KPH or so, how many Kilometers did it take before you noticed the increase?

I'm also wondering if you might be in low range? Because that is about top speed in low. I've always been able to get mine up to 55+, from day one.
