YFZ vs BANSHEE
#351
Yes, I have a question..... So how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop????
With a two stroke tongue, it's 184, they are twice as fast.
It all depends if you want a torquey tongue or a fast tongue.

This is getting pretty funny guys.
I think some of you are taking what I said out of context. I didnt want to come across as saying the 250r is slow, but in a straight line and out in the open, when comparing it to banshees and yfz450's, they are! Unless you have a ton of money sunk into that thing, and you are racing guys with yfz's and banshee's with only exhausts, intakes and jetting, the thing doesnt have the upper hand on either. They both make more power, and the yfz is damn close in weight (to the 250r) after removing the stock exhaust and other useless crap.
On a track a 250r has been awesome, but in the open they are nothing to right home about, IMO

I also guess that is why all the MX guys are finding out that the 450's are indeed better in most applications. They certainly make more power that a 250! The only thing the 250's have going for them is they are a little lighter, but not by much, just a few pounds!!

LOL... Im sorry I forgot, if it isn't a YFZ its probobly a slow piece of crap. The 250R is slow in a straight line, wow, thats fantastic. No disrespect to Yammi's but it just seems to me like if something isn't a YFZ or ATLEAST a Yamaha it's a big joke to you. Come on over to the west coast, I know of a few 250R's that don't have a TON of money sunk into them that will definatly shut you up.
