Default wolverine oil cooler

just got a moto 4 oil cooler off e-bay for $36.00, it is a 9 run vs. a 4 run on the bike stock, will my oil pump have enough psi to pump the extra oil? has anyone put a bigger oil cooler on there wolverine? and is it needed. mine ran hot even at 20 deg in the snow, but i was running hard.
finding a way to mount it should be fun too.

SOunds like a good deal! I know some people have put the big bear cooler on there Wolverine but I am not sure the size difference with the one you got? I wanted to put one on mine, but I have even less room with the winch in front.

that's why i got the moto 4, big bear and older kodiaks looks like they have 11 runs on them. i hope the fitting are the same, the part # for the
o-ring and seal are the same as mine.

maybe you can rig 2 small ones together with some kind of jumper, i will have one for sale soon.

took me 4 months of bidding to get it at that price. seen them go for a $150 and more.

Just curious, what makes you think it was running hot? I take my oil cooler off for the winter and run oil lines under my foot controls to prevent ice build-up. I hold it wide open all day long and haven't had any overheating problems.

it wasn't overheating, it was just hot. i couldn't hold my hand on the clutch cover for very long, and again, it was cold and snowing.

going to be doing some work with it this summer, and i will be at slow speeds, so i was hoping the bigger oil cooler would keep it from overheating in 80 to 90 deg. temps.

even thinking about adding a 12 volt fan to the front of the cooler, if i can find one cheap on e-bay

anyone done this?
