Default Blaster help!!??

My youngest son has a 03' Blaster. It is completely stock except the tires. Yesterday while he was trying to ride, it would quit running. (acted like it was out of gas) Checked everything out (yes it did have gas) and finally cleaned the spark plug, and it would start up and run, at least for about a minute. Then it was the same thing all over again. Its getting gas. I cleaned the air filter, and I drained the float bowl. I just put a new plug in it before all this started. When it starts, it seems to run fine. (no cutting out or overly high idle or anything else wierd) Any ideas on why it won't stay running?

I noticed you said "I just put a new plug in it before all this started" . My point is it may be a defective spark plug. It happens! Try the old plug you took out or better yet another new one from a different vendor. Another idea is to turn off the fuel valve, pull the hose off the carb, then place the hose into a container, then turn on the fuel valve and see if fuel flows. You may have a clogged in tank fuel strainer. Good luck!
