grizzly 660 to the rescue

I am not a grizzly owner but felt a need to share this with some of you who are. We were out riding this weekend and we had a 1997 arctic cat 454 bearcat lose its front left wheel due to ball joint failure. we first tried to put the front wheels up on the back of the grizzly and tow it, but it is full time four wheel drive and all wheels tried to turn. The grizzly owner not wanting to lose his chance at claiming he had to haul anouther cat out of the woods then says just " throw it up on the back rack". So we lifted up the front, had him back under it and slid the entire machine up on his back rack. He had to sit on the floor board of the cat to have room to drive. He couldn't steer so the stranded driver rode on the front rack to keep the front end down. He hauled it 5 miles on rough trails back to the cabin with only a slight bent rack and a bit of the fender missing from rubbing on the tire.
I would not have done it if it was my machine, But I got to say I was very impressed with the grizzly.

I wouldn't have done it either, but that is very cool. Kudos to the Grizzly and the guy that rides it.
Did you guys see the picture in Dirt Wheels with the guy on a Raptor that broke an axle 5 miles from his truck. (Why is it always 5 miles). Anyway, he took a branch and stuck it over the top of his footpeg and under the axle and it stuck out about 4 or 5 feet behind the quad. He was able to ride it like this back to his truck. Now that's impressive.
