Default Having a hard time timing bike. Please Help!

My bike i recently rebuilt and i don't have a manual. I called the dealer for my honda and he said that the flywheel shows a dot on it where you line it up with the cam. But theres 2 dots one of the dots is labeled with a T and the other one is labeled with an F, and there right next to each other. Plus when you point the dots does the cam dot point down and the flywheel dot point up? Please Help me so that i don't have to buy a manual. I'm just puttin it together so that it runs and selling it to my friend. Thanks

Well you didnt say what kind of bike but hinted it might be a Honda.
The 'F' and the 'T' on the flywheel stands for 'Fire" and 'Timing'.
So to time the cam you would use the 'T'.
On the cam I could only guess, and say look closely for a notch
or tab to align with the dot on the cam.

Really need to know what bike it is. Many hondas use 2 marks on the cam sprocket that line up side to side.
