look dude the banshee if a great bike in its element.(a drag race) and is a great duner. ive been duning for 17 years and have riden and built almost every preformance bike out there 250r banshee yfz450 and the banshee is definitly the fastest. and is great at comp to sit and measure manhood. but for pure duning it plain wears you out tap dancing on the shifter and controling wild bursts of power. the 450 on the other hand has smooth power and runs between 3rd and 4th gear. the 250r is a cross between the two and is a fine machine. so too say one is the best is a very bold statement.

How built is Untouchable's banshee? I can't find anything on it in this thread or on a profile.

He only has 36 posts, it's not hard to find. Its in one of his earlier posts, not sure exactly which one. Its a stock block build with a triple port.

i agree with u all the way there is no way a shee will beat the top fourstrokes on the market yfz, 450r, z, kfx ect. on the track or trails. a straight line mabye but not where it counts

The only time the straight line performance doesnt count is when you dont have a line straight enough to run it. Power is important in all types of racing, just in different ways. How many of you MX race? Sanctioned series? How about asking how many people line up and race thier buddies? I think you'll get a lot more affirmitive answers for that question. And none of those bikes you listed can hang with the bigger 4 strokes in a straight line, let alone semi-built banshees.

The banshee can be a lot of fun in the trails, for an aggressive rider. If you want to run mx or put along slow, technical trails then obviously the banshee is not on the top of the list. But the power potential is enough to overcome pretty much all of its short comings in any other situation so its understandable that its still one of the most popular sport atvs.

In otherwords, stop making excuses for being slow.
