HAkmazter,
The same thing is happeneing around here. The local dealer wants $7200 for a Raptor and it sits. The guys donw in Ft. Collins, about 40 miles away are charging $7500 for one. I dont know how they are selling, but the point is, that these people sure do have some nerve.

Just to add a little to this point. My local dealer is selling them for 7499+tax+setup, etc. 1000 over, and they are all sold. Should I say he told me that they would get 11, have already gotten 5, all of which were prepaid. The sixth is on the way with no buyer as of yet. That was last week. When he told me the price, I told him I was just curious to see one. I also felt obligated to tell them its ridiculous to charge that. He just looked at me with a smile and said well you know its supply and demand.

I would like to see all of those Raptors sit on the showroom floor until those dealers drop the price back down to suggested retail. They are expensive enough anyway!

FYI. I increased my main jet from #165 to #190 when I installed an exhaust tip, K&N filter, and removed the airbox lid on the DS650. I also raised the jet needle all the way to the fattest setting.
