A ported 240 kit is a nice upgrade for a blaster..It is a waste of money if you don't get the thing's that are needed to make it work properly..Also imo stay away from the vito's 240 kit There is some much faster kit's out there for around the same price.. To make a good ported 240 kit run like it should you will need..
1.New Pipe(LRD, Dynoport, or cpi)
2.Bigger carb (if you go bigger than 30mm you have to change the intake manifold and airbox hose)
3.Good reed system
4.Longer Swingarm(Even a +4 swingarm on a 40hp blaster it's hard to keep the front tires down
Those are just a few of the thing's you would probably have to have to make it work properly..If your gonnna do it do it right :-)

240 kit is an awesome kit, it costs $595.95 and is worth every penny. i highly reccomend the kit. If your plannin on racing i'd get a better shock system like FOX or Elka. Thats if you have some money for those systems. I would reccommend a bigger carb for your 240 kit it would help make the 240 kit pump out its maximum. 38mm carb is a good choice. Then run with a Lrd pipe, Just with those mods your blaster would be Bad A**. Oh and get v-force reeds. good luck with your project.

The 595.95 kit is for the Vito's, which is unported and all it will add is torque, spend the extra $5 and get a full ported with a new piston, prop head mod, gaskets, and and HWD Pd3 240 kit. ($600.00 from HWD) ( http://hollywooddirtonline.com/bb240.jpg ) Now for the shocks don't get the fox's, but Elka, PEP, TCS, and Custom Axis or works for the budget are all good choices. A 38 mm carb? Wow, you would have no low end, id get a 33mm PWK kehein carb ($225.00 from HWD) to feed all the extra air needed to run at it's full potential. ( http://hollywooddirtonline.com/carbkit.jpg ) The LRD or CPI big bore pipe would be your best pipe choice. And for the reeds ig get G3's from www.1dirracing.com, they have more airflow and are built better than the Vforces (Metal vs. Plastic) ($135.00) Then your gonna want to get a extended swingarm to handle all the extra power and an axle and a-arms for that extra width.
