Will I have to rejet?
#1
I just bought the Twin Air power flow kit for my raptor. The only reason i did was because the stock filter basket is falling apart, and i don't really want to get into jetting the carbs. Will i be able to run the filter without rejetting? How about with the lid off and with the stock exhaust? The entire quad is totally stock engine wise.
Thanks

I would suggest you wait to remove the airbox lid and rejet until after you get a new pipe and header system. Just putting in a new air filter may give you more air flow, but probably not enough to effect your jetting. However if you remove the lid, your opening it up enough that it may effect your jetting. I say IMO get a new pipe/header and then remove the lid and re-jet for best performance, but for now just put the new filter in and leave the lid on. Just my opinion.

Thats what i thought. I don't have the money for a pipe right at the moment, and I'm not sure which one that i would get even if i did. I like the stock one as far as noise goes, louder is ok, but i don't want to be obnoxiously loud. Any suggestions for a slip on? Is there one that i could get and add the head pipe later?

Sure. I'am not real sure about what brands they make, but ya you can get a slip on. Performance will be greater with a full system though. Here is a link to a few different brands of exhausts for the Raptor, remember there are more than this out there, tis is just a few. Ronnies
