Default FCR Carb

I purchased the MSR fuel adjustment screw with the big numbered head. The problem is that I cant get my stock fuel screw out. I unscrew it all of the way but it wont drop out. I tried a magnet but I think its brass or something similar and its not magnetic. Is there a trick I'm missing? There was nothing in the instructions besides a direction to unscrew the stocker.

I spent almost two hours searching the net for info on this and came up empty. Thanks for the input.

The tip of it may be bent.... I would go online to SUDCO and look up your carb on the diagram and see what it looks like.

Doesnt the stock fuel jet actually screw into another screw that you can take out with a socket wrench.

From the diagram that is shown in the manual, I should be able to back it right out. The screw takes a flathead screwdriver, a very small one and is recessed a little over an inch or so into the body of the carb.

The screws arent bent, the carb is new.
