I need to pack my silencer and a friend of mine suggested using a air conditoner window foam this time instead of the regular stuff..Has anybody ever did this or could think of anything it could hurt, I figured it would melt pretty rapidly but he claim's it will not..It is a LRD pipe and i would hate to mess something up?? I know that the packing need's to be there for back pressure, but he claim's that the air conditioner foam will do just as good of a job as the fmf stuff but will make the bike quieter(which i would like to do)..
