Default Question about tire size...

My friend just gave me a set of Holeshots 20x11x9 for my Rappy. I was wondering if that was a bit too much tire. All I have are your basic filter, jetting, exhaust mods, so I was wonder if that'll be too much tire for my Rappy. What size would you recommend? Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure that that tire is stock size, maybe an extra inch wide. You should be fine with it. If you do a lot of trail riding I'd go with a little lower gearing, maybe a 12 tooth front.

Default Question about tire size...

Thanks, its been so long since I've used trail tires. My original set was stolen out of my friends backyard, and he bought this set for me last week. He thought they may be too big, but I wasn't really sure. They sure look nice though. Thanks for the input. I think I'll keep them. I was planning on gearing down anyway.

If you dont want them, I'm sure I could find a way to take them off your hands.

They will be fine, have fun on them.

Default Question about tire size...

mmm, I dont think they are too much for any machine. We put my tires on my bro's raptor when it was stock and it handle fine. I didnt feel a loss in power or top speed or anything. They are the same size as the stockers, just 1in wider...nothing to worry about. If you were getting some 22x12x9, then I would tell you to gear down, but with 1in wider, the changes are minimal
