I was going to get a Yoshi exhaust system along with some jets and air filter for my yfz450 and was wondering if anyone knos if it voids the warranty

 

To the letter if you get right down to it any mods to a machine voids the warrenty but I don't think that a dealer would be that touchy unless the mod did cause the failure.

 

Just take the pipe off of it if you take it in for any warrenty issues

 

it doesnt void the six month factory warranty or the extended if purchased with the quad
thats what this *** told me at yamaha if its true or not i dont know kinda seem like he was trying to sell me a warranty

 

Don't believe anything the dealer tells you re: warranty. They get a commission off the sale of extended warranties and sometimes after market upgrades - if done before unit delivery to the buyer. As you can see, I chose all GYT-R upgrades because I was told by the dealer that since Yami was the manufacturer, my 6 month and extended YES warranty would not be voided. Not true!!! When I called Yami corp. to ask an unrelated question.... we got to talking about my upgrades and I was told that the warranty on my bike was now null and void!! I am now waiting for my pro-rated Yes warranty refund check which, by the way, is "in the mail". Where have I heard that one before??
