Default Chain Lube

Sorry about the questions but this is my first ATV. What is the best chain lube? Chain wax or regular oil, like WD 40. My chain is the O ring type.

Thanks,
Mark

I don't know the best, but I sure know the worst. DON'T use a sticky chain lube at all. You will be sorry if you do.

Welcome to the forum ifly61ce, I spray my oring chains with wd 40 after washing the bike. Then later when dry I spray it with chain lube, I use belray 90% of the time but did like the bright green color of motul chain lube. The bright green color makes it real easy to see as you spray it on.

I use PJ-1 black lable,it works good just wipe off the excess or you'll have it everywhere. The wax looks like it works really well too.DON'T use Silkolene it's garbage,I used it one time on my chain and it rusted over night! It does'nt cling like everything else.
