Default YFZ 450 issue

I am a new YFZ 450 owner. The bike is stock except the GYT-R full pipe. I took the bike out and noticed the bike hesitated when i really reved it right before i was about to shift to second. Like it was choked out. Thanks for the help.

The guy i bought it from had the jetting done when he did the pipe. Rev limiter? not familiar with that. I just picked the bike up last sat so I am still getting to know it. From what I hear the bike runs great with just a full pipe. Anything else that I should (upgrade) do to it before i hit the dunes next weekened.

The rev limiter is the thing that keeps you from blowing up your engine. It will make your bike cut out like it is choking just put it in first and keep accelerating until it cuts out that is your rev limiter kicking in. The throttle will be almost all the way open. ...

You need to know exactly what jetting is in there.
Just because someone else jetted it, does not mean that they did it correctly.

If you could let us know what the jetting is, and what your elevation is, we can probably let you know if you are in the ball park or not.

Do you still have the lid on, or have you removed it??
