Any one sure if it is necessary to add tranny fluid to an 01 Warrior. I know there is a black cap on the left side of the engine but sure what that is for. If i do need some what kind?

For the love of God go buy a Clymer repair manual if you value your bike at all. No you never add tranny fluid to a warrior. OIL yes 2.5liters tranny fluid NO. The bike uses a wet clutch and transmision works off of the same oil supply. Good luck with your maitenence

Why go buy a manual when you can ask whatever question there is to ask for free on forums such as this one...My opinion

So one day you can be a good contributor to a forum like this. Slugs can only get so much info from a board. And if we were all slugs then we would never have a chance to learn more because no one would have a clue what the hell they were doing. Besides what would this board offer you if you were in the middle of no where and you had a minor problem with the bike. I replaced my clutch with a step by step guide out in glamis. Sure I could have lost two days of riding and waited till I got home to replace my clutch. But spending 30 bucks got me two extra days of riding. Worth every penny IMO.
