Default Little Raptor660 Help

I have a Raptor I was gonna break out last weekend, after a couple of months of storage, and it just 'buzzes' loudly when I try to start it.

It has been stored before (it is a 2004 by the way) and I needed to push start it, but this 'buzzing' is new. Is this simply a low battery or something different?

Thx in advance for helping a novice

dead battery for sure, either charge it and try again, or just replace problem solved. when you store your bike for a while, disconnect the battery, and if possible put it on a battery tender.

Default Little Raptor660 Help

Whew.....thx guys. I had it serviced(a one time thing since buying) before winter and would have been upset if it was something other than a weak battery.

Another question....to save me the trouble of looking......what is the voltage of a battery on the Raptor? Standard 12v or something different?

Please be forgiving and consider that I am not a full time rider. Just trying to learn the basics and be a better care provider for a bike that I ride pretty hard......and paid a pretty price for.

I imagine that threads like this can be annoying to people that take riding to the next level.
