MisterHP's 800 DS kit is making about 83HP, not 130HP. He has the dyno reports in his photo section.

Yes Mr. Hp bike is making 120+ on the dyno. Thats just the 800. The 840 is still being built.

Ctracingraptor....what kind of numbers is your Rap laying down?? Hard to beat those numbers for $1k even if the dyno is lenient.

i make a sout 54hp on a stock bore, but the difference between me and him is i dont post my numbers thinking they are the top. i prefer to let my bike prove itself on the hill. also if he put a 690 in that bike and spent only $1k then he didnt change the rod and that is a timebomb just waiting to happen.

I was just making the point that you were downing his numbers when you are probably making less. Kinda like telling a guy with a vette his car is slow when you own a camaro. The guy never posted his numbers were untouchable. With a little research, one will find out anything over stock compression can cause a rod to let go. You are over stock compression, I asume you have changed the rod to retain reliability??

no i like him am i on a budget, but the chances of a 690 on 11:1 to vs a stock bore on 11:1 the reliabilty is in my advantage. 690's need to have the new rod installed and it balanced. i could of easilty bored to 686 on my bike but i didn thave the extra $1200 to due teh bottom end, so i left mine safe with decent output. point in hand i really dont liek trinity, defend them if you want but their motor arent getting them no-where. but apparently he just bought his parts from trinity and built it him self. which is a different story, and i can he bike makes good power, the torque is creepy though. if i was him i would have not spent the $1000 on the fcr's and built a solid bottom end.

with all the engine work and FCR's it came to less than $1000! For that kind of power it can't be beat price wise.

I would like to have it dynoed again running on VP110 but I not willing to spend the money again for Trinitys dyno time. Maybe at next years FSW's.
Hmm...

600 for used carbs, at least 300 for cam and springs, 100+ for dyno tuning... Yeah I dont know how you could ever make that on a 1k dollar budget. I didnt even get to add the 150 dolllar piston and rings and the bore and hone job. What about filter setup?

Thats closer to a 1500 dollar build, with your own headwork and assembly. Sounds like a great bike, but I just dont see it on that kind of $$$.
