I would have to disagree there buddy.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Besides bore and stroke, GNC pro production quads have basically all the same mods and they are on a level playing field. I would bet Murdr's Yoshi will put a hurtin on 450's without some kind of machine work done to them, and of course bolt-ons.

Let me tell you something, i have dumped on many heavly modded yfz-450's, not just stock ones. One for example had full exahust, cdi , cams, speical airbox with filter. Another thing you can pick up a z-400 for about 4500-4900 , if you add 2000 for the kit and acc to that and your looking at about 6500. Which is what a yfz-450 is going for.

What your saying is that its cheaper to go with the Z400 and the yoshi mods, than to start with a yfz. Agreed. What I'am saying is give the yfz the same mods as the Z and the Z looses. Not mod the hell out of a Z and only put a few mods on the yfz. Put a yoshi kit on a yfz, along with the same mods you have, will you still win? Equal mods=yfz wins. I would never diss the Z, I love that machine! I have no doubt that you have smoked many a yfz either. I bet that Z of yours is one bad **** and could only dream of having one.

Like Motox said just look at the gncc quads, William Yokley's z450 has the same mods as
the top running yfz's and he's in the top five. Now for just minor mods like a pipe, filter, and
jets the yfz might have a slight edge due to +50cc's and the 20-30 pound wight differential.
Beside the point it usually comes down to the rider anyways.

I guess I'am just wrong then![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] If I added 50cc to the YFZ via some sort of Yoshi build, and then put the same mods Murdr has on his Z450 yoshi, the YFZ would loose??? Thats the comparison I was looking at.
