Front sprocket nut size.

1-1/4 inch socket worked perfect for me

Probably works fine, maybe hair tight. But if you're going to go out and buy a socket just for this purpose, you might as well get the actual size yamaha spec'd it at. Since he was asking for the metric equivalent, I figured I'd let him know that it was a metric nut.

I agree 100%....but no-doubt for most people a standard 1 1/4" socket is gonna be in the tool drawer before 32mm socket....hense you get by without making a trip and purchasing a socket. BUT, if 'ya prefer a looser fit at what Yamaha specs the nut at...by all means do what you gotta do [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img].

The front sprocket nut is one of the few oem parts I havent had to replace yet, so I'll go with the sloppy fit and put one on order.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
