It isn't hard at all to put a front sprocket. You'll lose around 3-4 mph on top end.

Yea u loose a couple on top end but overall it will get ya where ya want alot quicker in the trails and gives much better bottom end. If u have 22's in the back i highly sugest the 12 tooth... thats what im runnin right now and it rips in the trails and is better all round even on the straight it feels quicker but i got through gears quicker on the straights. I always stay in like 2nd and 3rd now in the trails insetead of the first 3 gears... i occasioally have to go down to first but not often and not for long.

id still get the 12 it will really help the low end... im gona go back down to 20's in the back also soon and run the 12... u wil see the improvement and even if ya dont like it u can just switch back to the 13, its not hard to change a front sprocket and its also very cheap it will cost ya like 15 bucks.

AS they allready said it easy as it can be first step go to the back lossen ur chain adjuster lossen the two bolts as you would if you were to tighten ur chain go to the front take the plastic cover off there a little thin washer with ears bent over the net to keep it tight while rideing get a flat head screw driver bend it up and chances are you will not have a socket that big to loosen the nut get some vise grips clamp down tightly and twist her off mine wasnt that tight so mayber ur want beok slide off the sproket with chain on it it will slide over just enuff to slide the sproket out put ur chain around the new sproket and slide it up on the spline and put ur nut back on tighten down bend the ears down around the net again put ur cover on go to the back tighten ur chain down again tighten the other two bolts and ride it and feel the great bottom end gain its soooo worth it .
