how much will elevation effect jetting?
#1
i have a 660 raptor w/ a full yosh pipe, pro flow k&N, and a dj stage two. my question is i ride some at home from sea level to around 400', but most of my riding is at 2500' to 3500' in the mts. when i was stock i did not notice any difference. with the add ons will it be different? will running no air box lid make it more sensitive to elevation changes?

My brother's raptor is jetted @ sea level and when we went to Valle de Trinidad (3,400ft above sea level) for the Baja 500 it sputtered a bit, but once past 3rd gear it was fine. I didnt check the plug afterwards, but obviously it was too rich. If you plan on riding at different elevations, look into buying a dial-a-jet, that might help.
