i actually think the best thing they did for the raptor is the geometry. its a ton closer to the yfz now. not tippy anymore!!! the new plastics arent bad. i dont know what i think about them. the efi is nice. i think one of the only reasons yamaha bumped the cc's up 26 is so they could call it a 700. i dont know why but that just sounds a lot bigger than 660 for some reason. anyways, i say good job, but im still waiting for a banshee and blaster replacement and maybe a yfz250.

 

Every year I become more of a Yamaha fan. It seems like when they intro a new quad or redo an older model, they get it just about right. I'll reserve judgement on the new Wolv, but I am willing to bet it doesn't deserve all this negative chatter. Yammy did a great job on both the YFZ and Raptor this year though.
