Dont need Red Foreman to say it, I will. Yamaha you are a bunch of dumass's for making the new Wolvy that way. There how was that?

Very well done MrDumbass. I feel the Woverine will not be around very long after Yamaha sees how poor sales will be over the next year. I hope some rider tests prove us wrong but I believe it will be a big flop. If it can not accelerate like the old one and do at least 60 mph then your better off with a Big Bear, Bruin or Kodiak. Just my opinion.

its probably fast, but you dont get that wheely feeling without a semi auto, and the quad doesnt look like its set for a plow or winch.even if its fast i would ratherhave a kodiak.

Utterly Disappointed. Damn glad I spent the money to make my own 450. I still have the autoclutch and 5gears to select from. I don't have floorboards and when I say my displacement is a 450 I am closer than Yamaha is. 446 is much closer to 450 than 421.

This machine just doesn't add up.

I was half expecting the raptor styled plastic and for some reason didn't even look at it.. went straight to the specs in order to be disappointed much faster.

I did find ONE thing I liked.... Selectable 2wd/4wd. On a scorecard... got one right, got the rest wrong. Wait... larger fuel tank... Two right.

Yamaha.....??

nice, so I just bought the 450 and am pretty happy with it. I would love for someone to stop me on a trail and ask me WTF I was thinking when I bought it. Maybe I would tell them that I am not a closed minded moron that enjoys trying out a new product. Yea it could be better but for me its the best of both worlds.

I am as happy with my 450 as I can be. It is a 450 raptor/wolverine 4x4. I know that sounds horrible to have the option of four wheel drive when you need it. I would like it better if it was a 660, or something bigger like that, but it handles great and its fairly light. I'm sure with a few more mods (clutch kit, cam, intake) it will be exactly what I want. I put a HMF slip-on on it and it responded great with better low end power. I don't know of a better trail bike out right now. You all should really ride one before you decide you hate it. I had a 97 350 wolverine, and there is no comparison.
