I've ridden both a little. I think the warrior has a little more top end stock for stock, but I think the 300ex is better woods rider. Of course that's my opinion, not an exhaustive study. The 300 is lighter, smaller, and easily able to loft the front end up. It also feels a good bit larger than a blaster.

Later,

Jason

Up until 2 weeks ago I was asking the same thing, I went to 3 different bike shops and they all told me for an extra 200$ I was crazy not to buy the warrior, 1 extra gear and reverse in any gear was well worth it, so I took their advice and bought a 2001 warrior and love it, for all its worth I smoked my friend on a tricked out 250x. Good luck go with the warrior you wont regret it.

stock for stock the warrior is the much better quad! Believe me. the warrior has way more power. ive ridden a 300ex and it is just pathetic. and way to small. i feel cramped on it. 6'1'' 170lbs.
